Cinder

Docs

Cinder launches tokens on pons (Robinhood Chain) with a Cinder vault as the token's creator. pons pays creator fees to the creator, so every fee the token earns reaches the vault, which buys the token back and sends it to 0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dEaD.

Launching

  • The app uploads the picture to IPFS and calls launch(params, burnBps) on the Cinder factory.
  • The factory clones a new vault, sets it as creator in the pons launch parameters and calls pons' launchToken, paying pons' launch fee.
  • Any ETH sent above the launch fee is a first buy on the bonding curve, and those tokens go to the launcher.
  • burnBps is the share of every fee batch that buys and burns, from 0 to 10,000 (100%). The rest goes to the launcher in ETH. It is fixed at launch.

A burn

  • While the token is on the bonding curve, the vault calls the curve's sweepFees; after graduation it calls sweepPoolFees on the pons hook for the token's Uniswap v4 pool.
  • It claims its balance from pons' FeeEscrow, then splits the ETH: the keeper's tip (0.5%, only when the keeper starts the burn), the launcher's share, and the share that buys.
  • The buy uses the curve's buy before graduation, and an exact-input swap in the token's v4 pool (ETH / token, pons hook) after it.
  • Every token bought is transferred to the dead address in the same transaction. The buy must return at least minOut, which the keeper sets 5% under its simulation.

The keeper

  • Every minute it reads each vault: ETH waiting in FeeEscrow plus fees still in the curve or the hook.
  • When at least 0.002 ETH is waiting and the last burn was more than ten minutes ago, it simulates burn and sends it.
  • Only the keeper or the token's launcher can call burn, so nobody can pump the price and then trigger a buyback into it.

Owner powers

  • Set the keeper address, and the keeper tip up to 1%.
  • Nothing else. There is no function that moves a vault's ETH or tokens, and no way to change a token's burn share.

Risks

  • A vault can only be the creator of a token launched through Cinder; existing tokens cannot be switched.
  • pons, its hook and Uniswap are outside Cinder's control. If pons changes how creator fees are paid, burns may stop.
  • Unaudited. Tested on a fork of Robinhood Chain against the real pons factory, curves, FeeEscrow and a graduated v4 pool.
